WATER RATES AND FEES
**Effective January 1st, 2008**
Installation fees include $50 deposit on meter and $50 backflow preventer required, in addition to the rates below.
City responsibility ends at the meter should any issues arise, ie. break in water between house and meter.

Outside of City Limits, the said rate shall increase by 100% of the set rate.
Cut On Fees for Existing Service: $50.00
Late Fees:
§ The delivery of yellow notices will result in an additional $20.00 late fee added to your bill.
§ If service is disconnected, a reconnection fee of $20.00 will be charged.
Unauthorized Use of or Interference with Water Supply:
If any customer's service is restored by unauthorized means, a charge of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be added to that account. If meter is removed or tampered with to prevent unauthorized restoration of services, a fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) shall be collected from the customer before the installation of the water meter. A potential of criminal prosecution may also exist for the unauthorized interference or tampering with or theft of water services.
