The new wastewater treatment plant, completed in 2014, is a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) designed to treat 700,000 GPD (gallons per day) with a maximum flow rate of over 1,200,000 GPD. The two 48'x 48'x 24' treatment tanks treat the raw waste water in cycles. The new tanks are able to contain twice as much waste water as the present facility.
