How can I get a copy of a Police Report?
A copy of any report generated by the Waynesboro Police Department can be obtained at the Waynesboro City Hall, located at 122 Public Square East in Waynesboro. These include accident and incident reports. Office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

Is there a charge for copies of reports?
A copy of a traffic accident crash report costs $4.00. A copy of an offense or incident report is provided at no charge.

How soon after an accident can a copy of a report be obtained?
A copy of a traffic crash report may be available in 5 to 7 days. A copy of an offense or incident report may be available in 3 to 5 days.

Where do I pay a traffic ticket?
Tickets may be paid at the Police Department located at 122 Public Square East in Waynesboro.

Can I mail payment for a fine?
Yes, payments may be mailed, unless you are otherwise advised by the officer when the ticket was issued. The amount of the fine and mailing address are on the back of the ticket.

If I go to City Court, where is it located?
The Court is located at the Police Department in City Hall, located at 122 Public Square East in Waynesboro.   All City Court times are 3:00PM. on Wednesday.  The exact date will be listed at the bottom of your pink ticket.

Where is driving school held and What is the cost for the course?

Defensive driving school is held at the Waynesboro Middle School located on Highway 13 South about 1/2 mile from the Square.  Cost of the course is currently $50.00.  Class begins promptly at 8:00AM.  Click here for a current list of driving school dates and more information about defensive driving school.
